Esperanza Latino Teacher Awards

You are invited to the CPLC 21st Annual Esperanza Latino Teacher Awards! This dinner and awards ceremony honors teachers— one of the most important and lasting influences in a child’s life. Esperanza means “hope,” as educators are the hope for future generations.

At the event, four outstanding Arizona Latino educators will receive a $5,000 cash award and a stipend of $2,500 to their respective schools. These teachers are selected for their ability to inspire students of all backgrounds to learn and for the difference they have made in the lives of their students, their families, and their communities. Awardees will be announced next week.

This year, the awards ceremony portion of the event is FREE and open to the public. All members of the community are invited to join us at Gammage Auditorium for the awards portion of the event featuring keynote speaker and Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction, Kathy Hoffman.

Sponsors and ticketholders are invited to join us for dinner and pre-awards reception. Guests will meet this year’s awardees and have a chance to speak with elected officials and education leaders. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit CPLC programs and services.
